Island Chocolates are meant to be enjoyed while fresh, and we take great care to ensure your selection arrives in the best and freshest condition possible. To accomplish this, our team takes great care in the packing and shipping of your order. Shipping and Delivery

Orders received prior to 3:00 pm ET  Monday - Thursday will be packed and shipped the same day. Because we do not know how orders will be stored over a weekend by the carriers, orders received after 3:00 pm Thursday will be shipped on Monday, unless Saturday delivery is specified. Refer to Saturday delivery in the section below. Orders placed on the weekend will be shipped Monday.

Important Notes

Shipping to PO,APO and FPO Boxes

We can ship your order to these addresses using USPS Priority Mail, however, because some of these addresses can be mail forwarded, we cannot guarantee the order will arrive undamaged. The same rates as the FedEx rates above apply.

Alaska and Hawaii

We use FedEx for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. There is an additional charge of $10.00. Orders are shipped overnight but can take two days for delivery.

Canada and International

We use the USPS Global Express Priority to Canada. We cannot be responsible for any issues resulting from Customs, however, ordinarily the shipment will arrive in 2-4 days. There is an additional $10.00 charge for these shipments. At the present time we do not ship to other international destinations.

Cool and Warm Shipping Dates

Because our products are fragile in warm climates, we take special care in shipping in warm weather months or to warm weather destinations. Beginning May 1 until October 1 and year round to warm climate areas such as Florida, Texas, or Southern California, we use overnight shipping with ice packs. We cannot be responsible for any damage to products left out in the heat upon receipt.

Saturday Shipping

Saturday delivery is available to many locations. If for any reason we cannot ship to your location for Saturday delivery, we will notify you the day your order is received. If we cannot make contact with you, we will hold the order and ship on Monday unless otherwise notified by you. Saturday delivery is charged wat overnight rate plus $10.00.

Order Confirmation and Tracking Numbers

If you place your order over the web, you will automatically receive an order confirmation when your order is received by us, and you will receive order tracking numbers and a link via email as soon as we ship. If your order is placed by phone and you give us your email address, we will email you the order tracking number when we ship.

Damages

If your order is received damaged, please contact us within 24 hours so that the situation can be rectified in a timely manner.

Signature Release

FedEx has permission to leave packages at the delivery address without signature. We cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. We suggest you confirm availability to be received or ship to a business address when in doubt that your package will be safe upon delivery.
